While the "outer cordon" will gradually be reduced, an "inner cordon" around the site of the explosion investigation is likely to remain in place for several weeks.

Police Chief Robin Smith said on Sunday morning that the recovery effort would be "painstaking" and "meticulous", likely to take several weeks.
