Police seek witnesses to 'BMW crash'

Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed a car believed to be a BMW crashing into a wall, causing “substantial damage” before driving away.

In an appeal for more information, the Force explained the collision took place last night (Monday 25 May).

They say that the crash took place on John Le Quesne Close on Rue de Maupertuis in St. Clement at around 22:30.

Issuing the appeal, officers explained: “A dark coloured car, believed to be a BMW 320, reversed into a communal wall on the Close causing substantial damage to the wall and probably to the car as well.

"The car drove off after hitting the wall.”

Anyone who may have seen this or who has any information is asked to contact Police on 01534 612612 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their online form.
