A dozen young dancers are limbering up and preparing to show off their moves in the hope of making it onto Britain’s Got Talent.
The show’s talent scouts are in the Island on Friday to meet students from the Emma Jane Dance School.
The youngest auditioning is just seven and they've all been getting some tips from their dance coach who says the experience will be invaluable for them and that it's a great opportunity for them to shine.
Principal Emma-Jane Griffiths said: “We had pre-auditions on Saturday for tap, modern, street dance, hip hop and musical theatre.
“All of the children have prepared their own pieces and I’ll be working with them this week to give them some helpful hints for the audition process.
“It’s a great opportunity and so exciting for them. Regardless of how they get on, the experience will be invaluable, to have someone from the show give them some more constructive feedback to help them develop as dancers and performers.
“The experience will be very good for their confidence and their self-esteem.”
The scouts will also be in the Island auditioning local singers and musicians from the Progressive School of Music.
