Hundreds of youngsters and their carers are dressing up as pirates and princesses today and signing and singing for charity.
Fourteen local pre-school nurseries, toddler groups and childminders are running sign and sing sessions to raise funds for the Jersey Child Care Trust.
The Trust's Executive Director Fiona Vacher said: "This is the first of its kind in Jersey and with the response we have had, it won’t be the last! All the children will take part in a Sing and Sign session with their carers today and this is possible because of the training that over 100 practitioners have received from the Jersey Child Care Trust. Key Word Signing Skills are so useful for all early years’ practitioners to have and a workforce with these skills, naturally brings even more inclusive practice as a result.
