How I unwind: Sharnelle Guest, Life Coach

Watching Friends, eating pasta and a glass of red wine might sound like the ideal night in for some... but it's actually part of a local life coach's arsenal to unwind.

Sharnelle Guest is the founder of SHE FEELS, which aims to help women reconnect with themselves through wellbeing practices, including yoga and breath work.

For Bailiwick Wellbeing, she shared what she does to relax...

I eat...

...a hearty bowl of pasta with salad.

I love all Italian food, and throw in some greenery for added freshness.  

I drink...

red wine

...a glass of red wine - Rioja, if we are being particular.

I’m not drinking alcohol, I’d go for a cup of peppermint tea. I feel it soothes the soul, especially during the winter months. 

I listen to…

...Sam Garrett.

His voice and his words are special. I love singing at the top of my voice to his songs any time and anywhere - in the shower, in the car, on a walk, it’s my feelgood music.

Often the books I read are about yoga, mindfulness, meditation and self-help. I am really interested in all of that and it helps for when I coach my clients and can give snippets and recommendations.

I try and get in all year round, and find it even better when it’s cold and more of a challenge to get in. 

If I’m not in the sea, you will find me in a cosy coffee shop or at a yoga/reformer Pilates class.
