Bristol City midfielder James Morton has joined Forest Green on a season-long loan deal, the League Two club has announced.
The 20-year-old has been snapped up by manager Mark Cooper after making 35 appearances for Bath City in the National League South during a loan spell last season.
Morton told the club’s official website, www.fgr.co.uk: “I’m really excited and it is a big step up from my loan last season.
“It will be a completely different challenge, but I am looking forward to it because Forest Green play great football and that was a real attraction for me.
“I feel like this loan move will suit me well and is a real step in the right direction for my career.”
