Held at Grainville on Monday 26 August, the initiative allowed islanders of all ages and abilities to try out a range of sports and wellness pastimes to promote the importance of physical activity.

Guthrie was at the school throughout the day – and afterwards took to LinkedIn to praise the event's success.

Her post read: "Great to see my idea / community initiative Sport For Alll come to life today.

"Huge thanks to all stakeholders and volunteers who made this day a huge success."
