The former England netball player behind a new community sporting day has praised the inaugural event as a "huge success".
The 'Sport for Alll' event, led by renowned England netball captain Serena Guthrie, was a day-long festival showcasing some of Jersey's best sports and wellness activities.

Held at Grainville on Monday 26 August, the initiative allowed islanders of all ages and abilities to try out a range of sports and wellness pastimes to promote the importance of physical activity.
Guthrie was at the school throughout the day – and afterwards took to LinkedIn to praise the event's success.
Her post read: "Great to see my idea / community initiative Sport For Alll come to life today.
"Huge thanks to all stakeholders and volunteers who made this day a huge success."

She continued: "Sport is sport. Sport is good.
"Doesn't matter if its netball, yoga, hockey or volleyball being active and participating in sports and wellness activities is critical to mental, physical and social health.
