A new inclusive community sporting event is set to take place this summer, spearheaded by a Jersey-born former England netball player.
The 'Sport for Alll' event, led by renowned England netball captain Serena Guthrie, is a day-long festival showcasing some of Jersey's best sports and wellness activities.
Islanders of all ages and abilities are invited to celebrate accessible physical activity and community spirit on the playing fields of Grainville School on bank holiday Monday 26 August from 10:00 to 16:00.
The free family-friendly event will showcase an array of sports and wellness activities that are available to participate in on island, including netball, hockey, yoga, cricket, rugby and more.
Each activity available will aim to promote physical and mental health through sport, and will be under the guidance of experienced and enthusiastic coaches and representatives.
