In a statement, Customs & Excise said that; “with the continuing uncertainty surrounding the UK Government’s decision on the EU/UK Brexit Withdrawal Agreement, a no deal Brexit remains a possibility.
“As a result, Guernsey Customs & Excise have published guidance for businesses and individuals engaged in customs matters on the arrangements that may be required to import and export goods after Brexit – either with, or without a deal.”
The plan is for the document to assist businesses and individuals in their ‘no-deal planning’ and it will be updated as and when more information comes available.
Any businesses and individuals who think they may be affected by Brexit, should check the relevant pages at gov.gg/brexit regularly to make sure they’ve got all of the latest information affecting the Bailiwick.
