The situation spiralled after the complainant got signed off work for a shoulder injury and had to take a break. The Court heard that Loeser took issue with this and accused him of being a fraud.
Over the following months, Loeser sent a barrage of messages to the complainant, culminating in Loeser threatening to accuse him of rape.
On 24 February, the builder made a complaint to the police and on 6 March, Loeser was arrested.

Additionally, Loeser was also charged with disorderly conduct after a member of the public saw her damaging her own car. Officers were called and an intoxicated Loeser was taken to A&E, where she swore and was abusive, ignoring warnings from staff and officers.
She was further arrested on 2 April and has remained in custody since.
Advocate Chris Green defended Loeser’s actions in April, saying she was upset because her dogs had gone missing. Advocate Green argued that his client felt she had been taken advantage of and was fully pursuing a civil claim against the builder.

To exacerbate the situation further, her remand in custody breached a probation order and a community service order from two past instances of disorderly behaviour.
Judge Perry sentenced Loeser to four months in Les Nicolles for harassment and one month for disorderly conduct, to run concurrently with the first charge.
A three-month sentence was activated for the breach of her community service order, and she was given one month for each of the additional past instances of disorderly conduct, both to run concurrently to each other.
In total, Loeser was sentenced to eight months in prison and was given a two-year restraining order.
