It has been on show at Art for Guernsey’s gallery on Mansell Street.

“Andrew’s work draws influence from a wide variety of sources including graffiti art, comic book graphics, pop art and abstract expressionism,” explains Art for Guernsey online.

“His artworks have a strong sense of movement and vitality, teeming with clusters of synthetic species bursting into life. Andrew was captivated by Sark’s night skies, the timelessness of Guernsey’s landscapes and the riot of colour on its beaches, with rock formations which brought to mind possible universes.

“Andrew described his visit as ‘a true bombardment of the senses’ that transported him to the innocence of childhood, and it will be fascinating to see the artworks inspired by his experience.”

The exhibition lasts until 2 September and will be followed by an exhibition by local photographer, Paul Chambers, who’ll be presenting his ‘Catching Light & Time’ series.
