Police officers went to Le Poidevin’s home to conduct a search on 11 November 2020. In doing so they found an air soft gun, a lock-knife, and two balaclavas in his car outside.
Inside the house officers found 5.8g of a synthetic cannabinoid and a large amount of cash.

Le Poidevin pleaded not guilty to illegally possessing the weapons, arguing that he had a valid reason to have both. However, during a trial in September, the Royal Court found him guilty on both counts.
Furthermore, Le Poidevin has a previous conviction for carrying a loaded air pistol in a public place.
He pleaded guilty to the possession of synthetic cannabis and to a RIPL offence, where he wasn’t forthcoming with his pin codes for two phones.
Judge Russel Finch took a dim view of this and said the Court always takes a firm stand when it comes to RIPL offences: “You hid the information because it would reveal your activities.”
The court also took an “unfavourable view” of Le Poidevin’s ‘not guilty’ plea and was therefore unable to give much discount to his sentence.
Le Poidevin was sentenced 18 months in Les Nicolles, to start from when he was remanded in custody on 21 November. Nine months of that sentence was specifically for withholding his pin.
