Five street artists will take over the gallery from 20 January until 20 February and their work will be complemented by pieces from 17 UK-based artists.
“We are absolutely delighted that before the fit-out phase we will hand over the gallery to five of the most inspiring British street artists who will create a never-before-seen experience for islanders,” said Mr Ummels.
“It creates a perfect opportunity for some of the most promising art students in the island to learn from the best and take the measure of their future home.
“It also sets up an ideal platform for Art for Guernsey to engage with the community, invite islanders to visit the space, communicate our plans and officially launch the fundraising campaign for the fit-out phase.”
