Elliot is a songwriting graduate from BIMM, who takes inspiration from the likes of The National, Pinegrove and Nick Cave. Following a successful stint of touring with his UK band ‘Elliot Falla & The Blue Valentines,’ he has returned to Guernsey.

During lockdown, the artist’s songwriting took on a new direction, becoming more introspective and autobiographical. His new single reflects this change, with vulnerable, intimate and haunting lyrics set over a deceptively simple, folks-y production. Elliot says the song also incorporates “soundbites from a character in a TV drama” that resonated strongly with him.

The song was recorded at Apocalypse Studios in Guernsey, with production, mixing and mastering by Mikey Ferbrache, and backing vocals by Phoebe Hazzan. More releases are expected to follow, including a full EP and select live appearances before the end of the year.

‘Don’t Wanna Be Here Alone’ will be available from August 28 on Elliot Albert Orchard’s Bandcamp. His Facebook Page also contains livestreams and information about upcoming performances and releases.
