7-year-old Benjamin Chapman has raised more than £2,000 for Alderney Football Club by riding his bike around the island.
The St Anne’s School pupil completed his 9.1 mile challenge in June.
His parents said Benjamin set out on this ambitious challenge with one goal in mind: to support the Alderney Football Club and his fellow Mini Nomads.
They said he showed determination well beyond his years as he pedalled his way around the entire island — a feat that impressed everyone who cheered him on.
“We are so proud of Benj, he has taken on a HUGE challenge — cycling around the entire island to raise funds for his football club!
“That’s right — this little legend pedalled his heart out in support of the team he loves, showing that passion, determination, and a big heart can come in a small package.”

Benjamin’s challenge saw him raise £2,127.40 for the Alderney Football Club.
He received donations from family, friends, the community in Alderney and in Guernsey.
“We can’t thank everyone enough for your generosity,” said Mr and Mrs Chapman.
“Your support means the world to Benjamin and to the Mini Nomads. Every penny goes directly to helping the club grow and thrive for all the kids involved.”
Benjamin presented the money to Alderney Football Club Chairman Robert Kirkland and Mini Nomad’s coach Lee Errington.
The club said “this inspiring young cyclist has not only raised vital funds, but also raised the bar for community spirit and dedication. One thing is clear — the future of Alderney football is in very good hands.
“Watch this space. Big things are coming from the Mini Nomads.”
