It was directed by Matthew Stockreiter and written by Cameron Ashplant.
Attendees were welcomed by a Visit Guernsey employee who introduced Guernsey’s film sector and the film itself, and afterwards there was a short Q&A with Guernsey actor Andrew Hislop and Mr Ashplant.
The film is set in the late 19th century and follows Sergeant Benjamin and Corporal Henry as they try to exterminate the last remaining member of a local tribe in the American frontier.

“This was a huge step up, screening the film at a Cinema in the heart of London’s West End,” Cameron tells Express.
“Without being cliche it does feel like a strong era for the Guernsey Film industry, and I think that’s because we are seeing great progress – with big name actors coming over, film festival successes, international media coverage and global distribution deals.
“We have so many young and ambitious filmmakers who all support each other and collaborate to grow and do something entirely new each time. The filmmaking scene in Guernsey definitely feels more collaborative than competitive, and with that energy the industry will only grow.”
The film has since been released to Guernsey audiences via screenings at the Mallard and was rated FRESH on Rotten Tomatoes by a BAFTA winning screenwriter called Eddie Harrison.
