The latest application for Pointues Rocques, which was rejected by politicians in 2021 and 2017on traffic grounds, proposes to erect 30 homes, 10 flats, 12 maisonettes and 16 affordable homes on the site.
The Open Planning Meeting will commence at 9:30 in Beau Sejour Theatre on Wednesday 27 June. Only those who made formal written representations within a specified period will be able to ask questions, but anyone from the public is welcome to attend.
Each application will be presented to the audience by the planning officer and representors will then be able speak for up to four minutes. The applicant is also able to address the audience before political questioning, debate and final decision making is undertaken by the elected members of the Development & Planning Authority.

11 representations were received for the Les Ozouets site, largely centred on active travel and traffic concerns. Pointues Rocques has also garnered 125 letters of representation to the planning service including two petitions over the past five years largely related to housing density, infrastructure concerns and the loss of biodiversity.
Earlier this year, the Committee for the Environment and Infrastructure attached a series of potential traffic reduction solutions to the new application including restricting streets, new bus routes, and safe walking routes.
The Committee for Education, Sport and Culture submitted the plans for Les Ozouets, whilst Mr R Plumley is hoping to build in St. Sampsons.
