Last year was the fourth warmest and the fourth sunniest since records began.

The average temperature over 2025 was 13.3°C, which was 0.9°C above the 30-year long-term average. The Island experienced 2,382.9 hours – or just under 100 days in total – of sunshine. The average sea temperature was 13.5°C – 0.6°C above the long-term average.

Jersey Met has today published the weather statistics for 2025, and with it another line will be added to the Jersey Warming Stripes mural at the Waterfront. Being one of the warmest years on record, the 2025 stripe will take on a dark-red hue.
