Labyrinth
CCA Galleries International will next week open Labyrinth, an exhibition of new work by Will Lakeman, running from 24 October to 21 November.
Alongside the exhibition, there will be a talk on 1 November, which will see the artist share his thoughts on “art, autism and the practice of lucid dreaming”.
La Faîs’sie d’Cidre

Hamptonne Country Life Museum will this weekend be hosting the annual ‘Faîs’sie d’Cidre’.
From 10am to 5pm, attendees can expect live music, entertainment, dancers, creative activities and great food available.
There will also be two pressings each day – between 10am and 12pm, and 2pm and 4pm.
Guilty Pleasures

The Drift bar at the Royal Yacht hotel is set to host a night full of ‘Guilty Pleasures’ live music.
DJs Craig Alder and Paul Mack will be bringing the floorfillers, with musical eras expected to span the 70s to 00s.

Greatest Showman Singalong

Jersey Opera House is tonight due to host a singalong show based on The Greatest Showman.
There will be a screening of the film with a live host, free bag of props and lots of interaction.
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full participation from the audience is essential.
The show starts at 7pm and tickets are £17. Bookings can be made here.
It’s pumpkin season!

Master Farms are inviting islanders to get into the autumnal spirit in the best way possible.
Its annual pumpkin patch will be open this weekend – and into next week, on 25, 28 and 31 October – for Islanders to come pick a pumpkin to carve.

Feeling spooky?
Tutor Gayle Jones will be stationed at the Arts Centre this October to deliver Halloween makeup workshops, perfect for those aged eight to 12 during half-term.
Participants will learn, step-by-step, how to get the perfect skeleton makeup in time for Halloween, using professional products including liquid latex, stage blood and face paint.
Make-up is included in the ticket fee, and can be taken home after class for attendees to practice their new skills with.
The workshops will run on Thursday 30 October and Friday 31 October, 1pm to 4pm.
