And while Jersey students are eager to get their creative juices flowing, they’re not so interested in a few other lines of work – just four students are currently studying agriculture or environment courses, and just nine are doing geography courses.

The details have been released in response to a Freedom of Information Law request about the subjects that undergraduate students from the Island are studying.

In total, there are around 500 differently-named courses, so the Education department categorised them into the 16 sections below. The data covers students studying degree courses here, the UK and further afield.
