No-one was hurt in the crash, and the road has reopened after two hours.
The police closed the road and were dealing with the incident – they say that they closed the road to traffic for safety reasons.
Updates from the police during the afternoon said that engineers had checked the roof of the underpass and found that no serious damage has been caused. A second crane was called to the scene to clear the road.
