The Green Watch crew were first called out at 17:45 to rescue two people stranded on Elizabeth Castle, using the inshore rescue boat.
While the rescue team were bringing the castle visitors back, they also got a call to assist an ambulance crew who were helping two climbers at Grosnez castle, after a wave swept them off the cliff face.

During this emergency, the fire service had to divert some of its crew to assist in a person search, after someone reported that they had seen a person stuck on La Rocco Tower in St. Ouen’s Bay.
Difficult sea conditions, with waves up to five feet, meant the inshore rescue boat couldn’t get a proper search of the area so emergency drones were flown in to help.
Emergency services also asked for the public’s help via social media, which promoted hundreds of post shares raising awareness of the search which was eventually called off after the thermal imaging camera didn’t pick up any sightings.

Whilst the crew was searching La Rocco Tower, fighters received another emergency call to rescue someone who had collapsed after getting stuck in a lift.
Following a night of outdoor rescues, the fire service is warning islanders of the danger of the tides and are reminding them to tell someone where they are going if they are venturing out on the coast.
