Attorney General Robert Macrae appeared for the prosecution and Lieutenant Bailiff Anthony Olsen presided over the hearing, accompanied by Jurats Ronge and Averty.
Safapour’s case was adjourned for sentencing on 28 November before the ‘Superior Number’ – a panel of five or more Jurats who only assemble to hear the most serious of cases.
In the meantime, the defendant has been remanded in custody.
