Police are investigating a reported petrol spillage on Saturday 17 January to see whether it was malicious.

The spillage took place inside a building on Albert Street in St Helier.

The Fire and Rescue Service were called to deal with the incident on Saturday.

Occupants of neighbouring properties were evacuated, but were able to return to their homes. No injuries were reported.

Police said that they were “keen to hear from anyone who may have information”.
