Poppy Appeal organiser, Alison Opfermann said: “Every penny we raise stays in Jersey, so on behalf of the Island’s service veterans and their families, we offer sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated or made a purchase.

“It is just wonderful that everyone has come together to show such support for our forces community.“

Tim Daniels, Chairman of The Royal British Legion Jersey added: “Every purchase and donation to the 2024 Poppy Appeal will help members or former members of the Armed Forces Community.

“We are so very grateful to the people of Jersey who have donated so generously to enable us to continue our work in supporting our local Veterans, and also to our many volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make all this happen.”

The Royal British Legion has been supporting service men and women, veterans and their families in Jersey with a variety of needs since 1922.
