A 43-year-old woman is due to be sentenced next month for buying clothes, gift cards and a watch with criminally-obtained money.

Danielle Shields appeared on Friday before the Royal Court, where she was charged witj four offences under the Proceeds of Crime Law.

Those included possessing cash obtained from criminal conduct, and making several purchases.

She was also accused of being involved in an arrangement that helped someone else use or control money she allegedly knew – or suspected – came from criminal activity, as well as trying to remove criminal cash from the island.

The offences all took place between 1 January and 9 February 2025.

She is now due to be sentenced in the Royal Court on Thursday, 8 May.
