As part of the event, art created by local students will be exhibited and there are to be a mixture of workshops.

All of this is sponsored by Young Arts Jersey, but the masterminds behind it are actually three Hautlieu students: Kiera Melville, Lizzie Pirouet and Ione Howells.
Jersey’s Arts Society said the event intended to “celebrate creativity and individuality in student arts and highlight the wide range of arts available, encouraging and inspiring young people across the island to get involved”.
Starting on Saturday and finishing on the Tuesday, several students will also sharing their musical talent on stage at lunchtimes from 12:30.

The week is set to launch at 18:00 tomorrow, and among the crowds will be Flo Crowcroft, who won the Arts Centre’s Original student Art Exhibition last year and Senator Sam Mezec, who will kick it all off.
Saturday will see graduate textile designer Kyle Moody lead a workshop on fashion at 11:00, then at 14:30 Tim Le Breuilly will expound on drawing and mindfulness.
The next day brings fresh delights: a 11:00 workshop with Jodie Carney on the subject of glass art, while at 14:30 PJ will conduct a workshop on printing.

Then we’re into the following week with an 11:00 digital art workshop, which will be run by Motion Studios. In the afternoon, there’ll be Leila Arthur with paper cutting.
Finally, on Tuesday Geri Parlby will explore the darker side to William Morris at 11:00, and Bianca Padidar will be doing a textiles workshop at 14:30.
