Five young wealth management professionals from Guernsey have received awards at this year’s Citywealth Future Leaders Awards.
The winners were announced earlier this month during a ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel in London.
The awards aim to recognise professionals under the age of forty for their excellence in furthering their careers.
Organisers say this is based on their ambition, leadership qualities, and communication skills.
In Guernsey, Aimee Sarre, Assistant Manager at the Butterfield Group (pictured top), claimed a ‘Gold Award’ with the top spot for ‘Trust Officer of the Year’.
Winning a Silver Award was Nicola Mauger, a Client Services Manager at Butterfield Trust.
Matthew Gilligan; a Client Services Director at Fort, Lorcan Higgins; an Associate at Mourant, and Euan Melrose; a Director of the Imperium Group, all claimed Bronze standard awards.
Law firm Ogier won two individual gold awards,as well as a gold company award in the Best Employer Career Progression category.
Following the award ceremony, the Judges commented: “Ogier’s submission showed a structured but human approach to career development, with real investment in training, mentoring and international opportunities.
“The judges were struck by the consistency of feedback from people at different levels of the firm.”
