GROW Ltd., which was established in 1984, was selected as AFM’s charitable partner for 2017, with the firm supporting the charity’s flag days and IT work, along with in-house fundraising.
Throughout the year, AFM promoted the work of GROW Ltd. on social media, at events and on company vehicles. A new commercial lawnmower was also donated by AFM to the charity.
Edward Higgins, manager of GROW Ltd. said: ‘The support of AFM throughout 2017 was invaluable to us.
“From members of AFM staff giving their own time to help out at the vinery and social events, to donating funds to enable GROW to promote themselves further and gain wider recognition within the local community, to purchasing equipment for our Garden Maintenance Team.
“Without the help of corporate sponsorship many disability charities in Guernsey would struggle. AFM’s corporate responsibility ethic is to be commended. They have made a measurable difference to everyone who works and attends at GROW.
“The Board of Directors, staff and everyone who uses GROW are extremely grateful for AFM’s support and wish AFM continued success for the future.”
