The qualifications were prepared and certified by local IT services provider, Resolution IT.

Richard Tee, CEO of the Avantis Group, described gaining their Cyber Essentials certification as a “great first step as our group addresses cyber risks to protect us and our clients”.

James Kelsh, Senior information Security Consultant at Resolution IT said the UK government-backed scheme was launched in 2014 and provides “simple but effective guidelines” for mitigating the risks of cyber attack.

The Avantis group is one of over 40 companies we have taken through Cyber Essentials certifications this year alone, demonstrating the importance they place on third party due diligence which reflects the increasing ask for companies to show they are securing their data correctly.”
