It will be bringing its Eagle Labs project to the island as well – a community resource available for everyone with the aim of accelerating business and enabling collaborative innovation in the digital sector.

It currently operates in 14 locations across the UK, which are essentially work spaces to support grass-roots businesses.

Lucy Witham from the Digital Greenhouse appeared on a panel of four other digital industry experts at the Institute of Directors’ Midterm Meeting. The partnership with Barclays was announced there, along with an update on how the Greenhouse had been performing.

National Coding Week – one of the annual country-wide events that it participates in – saw 210 people over two years coding for the first time, and the Greenhouse also hosted Guernsey’s hub for the 3rd Global Games Jam, with 17 local developers contributing to the worldwide push.

More than 111 students have also been taking art in the Digital Seedlings enrichment project parented with award winning Edtech company.
