A survey aimed at gauging industry feelings around the proposed increase to the island’s minimum wage has been shared by the Chamber of Commerce.
The Committee for Employment & Social Security has proposed two different rates – one of which will come in to force from October, if approved by the States.
One option could align Guernsey with Jersey with a rate of £13 per hour for adults, and £11.70 per hour for young workers.
The second option could see minimum wage set at £12.60 per hour for adults, with young workers again paid £11.70 per hour.
You can fill in the Chamber of Commerce survey HERE before 21 February.
