Collas Crill says its Private Client and Trusts team have been strengthened after the company appointed Libby Oliver in Guernsey, and Tom Leveridge in Jersey, as Associates across its Channel Islands offices.
Ms Oliver joins the firm from New Zealand where she worked for a number of leading law firms, bringing with her a broad range of experience in private client, estate and trust-related matters. She qualified as a solicitor in New Zealand in 2016, and relocated to Guernsey with her family to join Collas Crill at the end of 2024.
Mr Leveridge advises on contentious matters, with a focus on private wealth and trust disputes. Prior to joining Collas Crill, he worked for HM Attorney General for Jersey on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, and was admitted as a Jersey Solicitor in December 2024.
Partner at the firm Christian Hay said both appointments reflect Collas Crill’s evolving service to its private and trust clients.
“Our clients’ needs are changing and, consequently, the structures they utilise to manage their wealth and assets are becoming more complex. Our team has a wealth of experience in dealing with these complex and often multi-jurisdictional structures, from both a contentious and non-contentious perspective.
“Libby and Tom’s appointments come at a time of sustained growth in this area. They both bring with them experience that adds value to our offering as a trusted advisor. I am delighted to formally announce their appointments and welcome them to Collas Crill.”
