She started her career at ITV Channel News, where she spent four years working on the news desk across editorial and production.

There she developed an understanding of how the media works before moving into public relations at Liquid.

While working with the PR firm, Ms Scanlon managed a wide variety of clients across finance, tourism, care, charity, retail, technology, energy and hospitality. She specialises in media relations and enjoys building relationships with clients.

“I am really looking forward to joining the team at Direct Input,” Ms Scanlon commented. “I have a passion for PR and helping clients tell their stories. I hope that my knowledge and experience in the industry will benefit the team in providing a brilliant service for all our clients.”

Ms Scanlon will manage the communication needs of a large portfolio of clients in her new role, including editorial, traditional media, social media and digital copy.

“We are delighted to welcome Kelci to our team who is an experienced and passionate PR practitioner with excellent knowledge of the Channel Islands media,” added Director at Direct Input, Laura Morel. “We look after a wide variety of clients at Direct Input, from local charities to International finance organisation and are actively growing.

“I am looking forward to seeing how her contribution will help shape the future of the company and the clients which we service.”
