The total net asset value of Guernsey funds stood at £272.8 billion at the end of the quarter – an increase of £1.9 billion compared with the previous quarter.
Despite the quarterly rise, total net asset values were £16.0bn lower over the year, a fall of 5.5%, according to statistics shared by the GFSC.
Within the overall figures, closed-ended schemes recorded a quarterly decrease of £0.6 billion (0.2%), bringing their total net asset value to £226.0 billion. Over the past year, closed-ended funds fell by £12.8 billion (5.4%).
In contrast, the Guernsey-domiciled open-ended sector increased over the quarter by £2.5 billion (5.6%) to £46.8 billion, although values were down £3.2 billion (6.3%) over the year.
Guernsey Green Funds held a total net asset value of £4.5 billion at the end of the quarter.
