The GET supports disabled and disadvantaged people in the island, helping them to find and maintain employment.
Julius Baer has hired several people through the GET, including William Banfield, who is enjoying his role with the bank.
“William genuinely loves going into work at Julius Baer,” said his support officer, Tania Gouveia.
Hiring people through the GET has been supported in-house by Amal Etasse-Pipet.
“Amal took the time to get to know William before he started so she had a good idea of his skills and personal interests,” said Ms Gouveia.
Employment Manager at the GET said getting disabled and disadvantaged people into work is a rewarding programme.
“We need the community to work together to help reduce the disability employment gap and create more social and economic equality for disabled and disadvantaged people,” she said.
