Organised as part of the Christmas Lights display and fundraising efforts, the idea was to get as many shops decorated for the festive period as possible.
All windows are listed on the St Peter Port Christmas Lights website, but the intention is for shoppers to go into town, ‘soak up the festive atmosphere, look at all the windows and decide which one gets your vote.’
All those entered should be displaying the ‘Window Competition Poster’.
The public voting opened on Sunday 1 December, just a day after Father Christmas turned on the lights in town. It will remain open until midnight on 14 December.
The window with the most votes will be presented with the winner’s trophy on the last late night shopping evening Thursday 19 December 2019.
