“We are currently working towards becoming an ELKLAN Community Friendly Setting, which is an important qualification. As part of this, we have re-designed and created some new areas within our setting, which includes lots of signs/words to help increase the children’s vocabulary. For outside, we chose to recreate our construction area. Rihoy & Son really helped us with this by providing a number of signs for us to use,” she said.
“To make it more realistic, we also added some wooden and foam blocks for the children to play with, plus sweeping brushes – to help with physical development – and yellow hard hats and hi vis jackets to make it more realistic. We are really pleased with the finished outcome.”
