Mourant is hosting its Trusts and Private Wealth Forums this summer, with the first in Jersey on 1 July and the second in Guernsey two days later.

Under the theme for 2025 of ‘Shifting Horizons: Embracing Change and Finding New Opportunities’, the forums will feature discussions on global private client trends, reputation management, asset classes, tax and succession planning. 

Mourant says the agenda is designed to help professionals in the private wealth industry, family office representatives, and legal advisors stay informed in a complex and rapidly changing environment.

Announcing this years forums, the company states there will also be a focus on resilient trusts, and the impact of AI, with a keynote speech by Tom Grogan, the CEO of the technology consultancy MDRx, which is part of The MDR Group (including the law firm Mishcon de Reya LLP). 

Mr Grogan will discuss the opportunities and risks presented by artificial intelligence and its impact on private wealth management, legal practices, and how professionals interact with clients.
