Dr Stefan Andersson hails from Sweden and trained at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine.
He started his post on 17 May this year.
He trained in anaesthesiology in the North West of England at Lancaster University, where he also completed an MSc in Clinical Research.
Dr Andersson completed his training in paediatric anaesthesia at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
“We’re really pleased to have attracted Dr Andersson to join our anaesthetic team and look forward to working with him,” said the Chairman of the MSG, Dr Gary Yarwood.
