Saffery Trust has appointed Shekouba Sesay as Associate Director of Compliance in its Guernsey office.

A fellow of the International Compliance Association – the highest grade of individual membership – and with close to 20 years of experience, Mr Sesay brings extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance to the role, said the firm.

Mr Sesay holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Sussex. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Thames Valley University (now the University of West London).

After completing his studies, Mr Sesay worked for various companies and law firms in London before moving to Guernsey and focusing on regulatory compliance within the finance industry.
