Miss Hume completed her professional training in the KPMG Guernsey office before transferring to KPMG UK in London in 2014.
During the intervening seven years, Miss Hume has specialised in providing audit and assurance services to asset management, private equity, venture capital and mid-market firms.
In her new role she will continue to work closely with KPMG colleagues in the UK jointly to deliver large private equity platform audit accounts and provide a range of audit services to various mid-market clients across the Crown Dependencies.
She said she is very pleased to be back based in the island.
“I am delighted to have returned home to the Island – and proud to have taken up the appointment of Director with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies,” said Miss Hume.
“I look forward to leading audits and building on and leveraging my UK asset management and private equity experience and supporting KPMG in the years to come.”
Tony Mancini, the Office Lead for KPMG in Guernsey, said he is pleased Miss Hume is back home.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Sarah back to Guernsey and KPMG in the Crown Dependencies,” he said.
“With Sarah’s vast expertise and background in audit, it will help drive forward our firm’s audit practice in future years to come.”
