Vlad Andrei Avram has joined the business following the retirement of Dave Robilliard in November after 40 years with the company.
Mr Avram has worked for the firm’s sales team as well as at some of the island’s hotels.
Marc McGuigan, Group MD, Brewing & Distribution, Liberation Group, said that Mr Avram’s vast experience in these sectors will benefit the business.
“We’re delighted to have Vlad on board. He knows the hospitality sector inside out and has exceptional vision and drive. I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome Vlad into the Liberation family,” said Mr McGuigan.
Mr Avram said he is excited to be taking on his new role.
“Liberation Group is the market leader in spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks in Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm, so it’s a real privilege for me to run Liberation Quality Drinks on these islands,” he said.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for this thriving and growing company and I’m looking forward to playing my part in its future.”
The business also has two retail shops in St Peter Port, at Admiral Park and the Town Quay.
