The Cherry Godfrey Group has announced the appointment of Nick Bender as a Non-Executive Director.
Mr Bender has more than thirty years of experience in the insurance industry, starting his career in Professional Indemnity Insurance in the late 1980s with Nelson Hurst & Marsh.
In 2001, he co-founded MGB Insurance Brokers Limited, where he played a role in establishing the firm as a UK wholesale broker specialising in Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and Financial Lines insurance.
The group says he has worked closely with Cherry Godfrey’s Guernsey and Jersey offices for almost twenty years.
David Cherry, CEO, stated that the company is glad Mr Bender is joining the board.

The Group says the appointment aligns with Cherry Godfrey’s five-year strategic plan to enhance its insurance capabilities, expand its market reach, and deliver value to clients.
