In her new position Ms Rodriguez (pictured) will continue to advise trustees, beneficiaries and settlors on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious trust, foundation and private client matters.

Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, she worked for various international human rights organisations in Latin America and Europe. She holds degrees in politics and development from Cambridge University and the London School of Economics.

Ms Rodriguez is qualified as a solicitor (England and Wales) and has recently passed the Guernsey Bar exams and obtained the Certificat d’Etudes Juridiques Françaises et Normandie from the Université de Caen.

Global head of Private Wealth Matt Guthrie said:

“This promotion is very well-deserved recognition for Diana, who has assumed a pivotal role in the Guernsey Private Wealth team. Her expertise in pensions and especially charities law is particularly valuable given recent changes in Guernsey charities law. We look forward to seeing Diana excel in the next stage of her career with us.”
