The breakfast event on 18 April will run concurrently in both islands with input from local business leaders, virtually discussing the roles corporate culture, mindset, wellbeing, and technological change play in the question.

Speakers include Rory Inglis, Managing Director at POS interiors, Lindsay Hart, Sales & Marketing Director at NP Group, Paul Murphy, CEO of Jersey Business and Dan Hare, Founder of Continuum. The session will be moderated byIoD Jersey Chair, Natasha Egré.    

Ms Egré said: “In Jersey and Guernsey we are working in island environments that have finite resources and infrastructure to support continued population growth. Therefore, it’s of paramount importance that we look at productivity measures to achieve economic growthSo many elements from technology, to culture, to skills have a direct impact on the productivity of a business, which in turn drives the profitability, competitiveness and long-term viability of organisations.”

Glen Tonks, IoD Guernsey Chair, added: “The islands have a long and close relationship, and it is more important than ever that we collaborate on topics which are shared challenges for both Guernsey and JerseyWe are delighted to join forces with our IoD colleagues in Jersey to stage this unique event. 

“The hybrid format of the event means we can still enjoy face-to-face networking time before technology takes over to bring the two events together for what I am sure will be a lively and interactive session.”
