HSBC has appointed more than 60 people to new positions across its Crown Dependency branches so far this year.
This includes 28 staff members receiving promotions, 25 new employees joining the firm, and nine individuals moving into different departments.
The appointments span several business sectors, including International Wealth and Premier Banking, Private Banking, and Corporate and Institutional Banking.
HSBC said these appointments are part of a wider strategy to prioritise customer service and foster a culture of internal development and recognition.
The firm also said the Top Employers Institute recently certified HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man as a ‘Top Employer’ for the third year in a row.
According to the bank, this certification reflects its internal practices regarding workplace performance and employee engagement.
Warwick Long, the CEO for HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man, said the bank aims to create a progressive environment.
“At HSBC we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, nurturing and progressive environment for our staff and so I’m delighted to see people across the islands progressing and evolving in their careers, as well as welcoming a significant number of new joiners.
“We continue to focus on building a strong reputation for being an employer of choice and this momentum is testament to our commitment to these values.”
Elvina Aghajanyan, the bank’s Head of People, said the organisation expects the new appointments to bring different perspectives.
“It’s encouraging to see our continued growth through new joiners and internal promotions, especially as we’ve been recognised as a Top Employer for the third year running.
“We look forward to seeing our new colleagues develop and thrive in their roles, and to the fresh perspectives they’ll bring to strengthen our teams and the service we provide to customers.”
