Ernst & Young will be joined by the States of Guernsey Revenue Service to help the business community navigate the ever-changing tax landscape at a briefing on Thursday.
Taking place tomorrow, between 12:00 and 14:00 at the Duke of Richmond Hotel, EY’s Head of Tax in Guernsey, David White, will lead the briefing in an attempt to shed light on the latest changes in corporate tax matters and the practical implications for businesses in Guernsey.
He will be doing this alongside EY’s Tax Director Cristian Anton, who will be giving an update on Pillar Two and FATCA and CRS compliance, of which he is a specialist.
They will be joined by Nig Garland, Head of Policy at the Revenue Service’s , along with Alexis Morgan and Steve Chandler from the Revenue Service, Automatic exchange of information (AEOI) team.
FATCA and CRS compliance reviews are expected to be more in depth going forwards – Nig and his team will provide an update on the revenue service’s expectations and approach to compliance activity following Guernsey’s recent CRS regime, and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) peer review.
