Specsavers has been named Brand of the Year and was awarded other accolades at the 2025 Marketing Week awards.
It beat out strong competition from other global brands including Adidas, Monzo and EE.
Specsavers was also recognised for Best Contest and Best Use of Social Media for a campaign including football icon Harry Redknapp.
Its media strategy and brand planning was also highlighted.
“Specsavers is a brand with a strong sense of self, true to its purpose, and that purpose dictates not just what we do but how we do it,” said Russell Parsons, editor-in-chief at Marketing Week.
“Our purpose is not financial success. Our purpose is about changing lives, and the rest sort of follows,” said CEO John Perkins, speaking earlier this month at the Festival of Marketing.
