The Accounts Manager has worked at TCS for more than two and a half years and is currently responsible for accounts reconciliation, payroll management and client processes. She passed her ICB Level 2 Diploma in Bookkeeping with 97% in August 2022.
Her more recent qualification tested her theoretical, demonstration and management of computerised payroll-related matters.

The UK payroll system is very different to Guernsey’s processes and involves elements such as marginal tax and NIC rates, statutory pensions and jurisdiction-specific tax codes. This meant she needed to learn it from scratch, which is a massive undertaking.
“Well done to Emilia who is a testament to our team. We provide payroll services for many of Guernsey’s favourite businesses and her learnings will bolster our existing payroll expertise and help us to prepare for mandatory workplace pensions in the coming months.”
